What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a SOC or cybersecurity role where I can triage real alerts, investigate incidents with strong tooling, and grow into AI-assisted detection engineering through hands-on monitoring, detections, and remediation work.

I’m a cybersecurity-focused Computer Science student with hands-on SOC operations experience in threat monitoring, vulnerability assessment, and incident response. I’ve worked in a multi-client SOC environment, triaging real-time alerts and keeping escalation timelines tight for validated incidents.

I integrate AI with network defense by engineering a custom hybrid Intrusion Detection System (IDS). In CyberSentinel (FYP), I combined Random Forest (signature-based classification) with Isolation Forest (anomaly detection) to achieve 94%+ detection accuracy while keeping false positives up to 7%.

I’m also comfortable building security-facing tooling—developing responsive frontend interfaces for security dashboards and consuming REST APIs to render live telemetry and alert streams. With tools like Wazuh, Wireshark, Nmap, Burp Suite, and Autopsy, I analyze system behavior, support incident post-mortems, and translate findings into structured remediation outputs.
