I've led UK policy and negotiations at the Department for Business & Trade, covering investment, regulatory cooperation, renewable energy and environmental regulation in the Singapore and Switzerland free trade agreements. I advise Ministers, Ambassadors and senior officials, translating evidence and stakeholder intelligence into strategic recommendations.
Across ten years in the Civil Service, I've delivered Parliamentary reporting on the UK-Australia and UK-New Zealand trade agreements, led the £270 million Green Heat Network Fund, and developed legislation supporting onshore wind and solar. I build coalitions across government, regulators, industry and external organisations, and have led multidisciplinary teams through complex, politically contested policy portfolios.
