At Risk Insights, which I founded in 2009, I pioneered the first AI model for ESG for the African continent. I’ve worked in over 54 countries on risk and financial models, and developed climate risk methodologies, ESG ratings and carbon disclosure frameworks.
My executive career includes senior positions at ABSA, Nedbank, DBSA and Fitch Ratings, where I developed expertise in enterprise risk, credit analysis and capital markets. I’ve advised governments, regulators, financial institutions and investors on climate strategy, ESG integration and sustainable finance.
My current research examines links between carbon emissions, ESG performance, climate disclosure and investment outcomes in emerging markets. I also develop and deliver executive programmes in carbon markets, climate finance and ESG, and contribute to international discussions through the World Economic Forum New Champions Advisory Board and the CASI Steering Committee.
