Manage and structure corporate credit activities, including term sheets and credit applications for project finance, trade finance facilities, and balance sheet funding. Oversee client onboarding (FICA/KYC), portfolio analysis, and documentation for corporate banking transactions.

Supported system implementation (Tagetik) consolidating 350+ subsidiaries and improved financial data models for reporting accuracy and insight. Processed journals and developed financial statements within Tagetik for multiple entity submissions.

Built and led Nedbank’s first dedicated climate risk function, embedding climate considerations into governance, strategy, and enterprise-wide risk management. Authored the inaugural TCFD report, designed climate risk governance and frameworks aligned to global standards, and produced climate-related ESG disclosures.

Established a Reporting Centre of Excellence to improve the quality, consistency, and agility of reporting to the Board, executive committees, and stakeholders. Implemented Power App reporting automation, coordinated key governance committee reporting, and owned external reporting deliverables including the Integrated Report and Pillar III reports.

Led reporting and value analytics for Nedbank’s Group Credit division, including secretariat duties for Board committees. Drove consolidated financial and non-financial reporting, supported IFRS 9 transitions, implemented BCBS 239 compliance, and automated Pillar III reporting changes.

Managed monthly and yearly financial reporting, reconciliations, SAP/HFM processes, and working capital optimization for the Southern Africa region. Prepared annual financial statements, hedging analyses, cash flow forecasting, and tax submissions, and led finance support for a distributor transition project.

Prepared credit applications for project finance and balance sheet facilities and completed annual reviews for 20+ clients. Conducted portfolio analysis and excess management, supported client engagements and site visits, and prepared credit documentation with Credit and Legal teams.

Supported the CA trainee office with recruitment for new CA(SA) trainees.

Completed CA(SA) articles at Nedbank Ltd with rotations across Internal Audit, MFC Finance, Corporate & Capital Credit, and the Nedbank London Branch. Built core hours and competencies in line with SAICA requirements.

Earned the ACMA/CGMA qualification in 2019, reflecting advanced competence in management accounting.

Qualified as a Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) in 2010 with articles at Nedbank Ltd.

Completed a CTA (Honours in Accounting) at the University of Johannesburg in 2007.
