At Quillbot, I own platform infrastructure for Grammar Checker and Sentence Splitter, including platform-wide authentication, rate limiting, cost observability, abuse detection, compliance, and security.
I designed and shipped an org-wide LLM cost metering pipeline spanning LiteLLM/HeavyLLM, Kafka, Iceberg, Trino, dbt, Airflow, and Superset. It processes up to 1B requests per day at peak, and gives teams cost visibility and provider reconciliation.
I also built a latency-critical authentication and rate-limiting gateway as the common entry point for request-token authentication and per-user limits. It sustained about 7 ms P95 at 3–4 krps, keeping authentication off downstream services’ critical path.
Earlier at Quillbot, I implemented WebSockets that made grammar-error highlighting about 30% faster, led CASA certification work with SAST/DAST, and owned the PageQ backend. At YellowClass, I helped build and scale the application to 1.2 lakh daily users, developed YC Shorts, and designed a referral program that increased acquisition by 10–15%.
