Aniyah Mitchell

I’m a healthcare professional with experience in urgent care, women’s health, family medicine, pediatrics, ophthalmology, pharmacy operations, and public health. In my current roles, I coordinate patient care, referrals, laboratory testing, and follow-up appointments, while also providing Spanish translation and patient education.

I strengthen outcomes through detailed medical records review and clinical documentation in EMR/EHR systems. I support patient navigation with insurance verification, prior authorization support, and continuity of care—while tracking laboratory results and keeping communication flowing between patients, providers, specialists, pharmacies, and laboratories.

Alongside hands-on clinical work, I’ve completed public health research and academic projects like community health needs assessments and healthcare access/health equity analyses. With a Bachelor of Science in Public Health and ongoing nursing education, I bring a data-informed, patient-first mindset to every workflow and documentation task.
