Anita Brau

I am a language specialist and intercultural mediator with a background in foreign literatures and linguistic-cultural mediation from the University of Sassari. I combine academic training with hands-on experience in education, mediation, transcription, and data annotation.

I have worked as a substitute teacher and intercultural mediator across schools in Sardinia, supporting language instruction in English and French and facilitating cross-cultural communication. My roles have included research support, QA testing, and data annotation tasks.

I hold certifications in Cross-Cultural Communication and Management (University of California, Davis) and completed professional typing training. I bring strong written and spoken language skills in Italian (native) and advanced English, plus intermediate French.

I work with autonomy, empathy, and active listening, and I contribute effectively in team settings. I aim to apply my mediation and language skills to roles that value cultural sensitivity, clear communication, and educational support.
