I built Pentatonic Simon, an ear-training game that helps my guitar students recognize musical intervals and connect more with improvisation. As an independent guitar instructor in Boston, I design personalized lessons around repertoire development and musical understanding.
At Guitar Center, I tailored lesson plans for students and designed visual aids for teaching music theory. I also led monthly open house classes, where 50% of attendees converted into paying students.
At School of Rock, I prepared lessons for 50 songs per semester and created guitar-part versions for different skill levels. I also delivered lessons and led band rehearsals to prepare students for performances.
At iD Tech Camps, I led Battlebot engineering workshops and guided students through the engineering design process. Earlier, at Winkelmann & Associates, I designed stormwater, grading, and utility systems for land development projects and helped adopt pipe design software that improved drainage design efficiency.
