Andrea Serrano Santos
@andreaserranosantos
Data Analyst focused on transforming complex health and statistical data into decision-ready insights.
What I'm looking for
I completed a Master’s in Data Analytics at Queen’s University Belfast (with a Bachelor’s in Statistics), building a strong foundation in database, programming, data mining, and machine learning. I’m especially motivated by turning statistical findings into clear insights that support better decisions, from data collection and cleaning through predictive modelling and interpretation.
In my recent Data Analyst experience, I analysed Northern Ireland cancer incidence and outcomes across socio-economic deprivation levels and translated findings into policy-relevant insights for healthcare and government stakeholders. I’ve also supported public health work with large-scale dataset analysis, built a Shiny dashboard using SQL and R, and expanded into MLOps/DevOps/DataOps through pipelines using Python, Rust, Docker, Kubernetes, and GitHub—while teaching end-to-end data analytics workflows and models.
