Anamika Shakya

I’m a portfolio manager and financial researcher focused on macroeconomic and equity research that supports investment decisions. I currently pursue an MBA in Business Analytics and Digital Transformation to deepen how data and digital tools strengthen portfolio outcomes.

In my recent role as a Research Analyst/Portfolio Manager, I managed clients’ portfolios and formulated and implemented investment strategies for PMS clients. I also conducted equity research and contributed to organizing the weekly asset management committee discussions.

I strengthened my research foundation through macroeconomic work for the Nepalese economy, including preparing monthly economic newsletters and performing fundamental and technical analysis for the stock market. I worked within the Research, Trading & Treasury Department to turn data into actionable insights.

Earlier experience included finance support work where I maintained sales and purchase books, assisted with VAT returns, and helped prepare financial statements. Alongside my professional work, I’ve volunteered with organizations like UNDP and UNICEF Nepal, and I’ve been recognized for organizing initiatives such as a women’s health awareness program.
