What I'm looking for

I'm looking to lead collaborative marine biodiversity, conservation and sustainability work that turns robust evidence into practical environmental management, policy and resilient coastal ecosystem outcomes.

I deliver marine biodiversity, conservation and environmental management projects that turn scientific evidence into practical policy and management outcomes.

Across MARPAMM and SeaMonitor, I supported transboundary Marine Protected Area management across Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland. I led ecological surveys, biodiversity monitoring, habitat assessments, stakeholder engagement and technical reporting for government, NGO and academic partners.

My research spans sharks, skates and rays, fisheries ecology, movement ecology and conservation science. I’ve designed field programmes, developed biodiversity monitoring approaches, published research and contributed evidence for fisheries and conservation management.

Through FjordStrong, Sustainable NI and Avicennia, I lead habitat mapping, biodiversity baselines, sustainability programmes, training and funding development. I build cross-sector partnerships and help organisations translate environmental policy into practical action.
