I’m an Actuarial Analyst with one year of experience in defined benefit plan valuations, retirement plan compliance, and financial modeling. I help clients and stakeholders by producing accurate actuarial calculations and clear regulatory-ready reporting.

In my current role, I conduct valuations for US defined benefit plans and cash balance plans by validating plan data and applying actuarial assumptions such as discount rates and mortality rates. I calculate accrued benefits, projected benefits, plan liabilities, and funding status, then prepare client and stakeholder reports while ensuring compliance with ERISA, PPA, and IRS requirements.

I also own important filings and schedules, including preparing Schedule SB and completing Schedule SF to report funding status, target normal cost, credit balance, and funding shortfall. My work includes Form 5500 submissions, Schedule SB/SF certifications, and supporting plan sponsor inquiries with risk-informed guidance.

I’m now seeking to leverage my analytical and risk assessment expertise to transition into an underwriting role. With a background in risk evaluation and decision-making—supported by my Excel, R-focused learning, and projects like flood risk assessment—I aim to apply underwriting guidelines to drive business growth.
