Amol Bhure is an accomplished cybersecurity leader with 15+ years of experience across Application Security, Cloud Security, DevSecOps, Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), Red Teaming, and Security Strategy. Currently serving as Director of Information Security at Saviynt, he leads five specialized security teams—Application Security, Red Team, GRC, DevSecOps, and Cloud Security—comprising 18 members, including senior engineering managers, architects, and security engineers.
Amol’s career is marked by his ability to build and scale security functions from the ground up. At Pharmeasy (API Holdings), he drove the InfoSec strategy across 10+ group companies such as Thyrocare, Medlife, Docon, Retailio, and Aknamed. His portfolio spanned Secure SDLC, Threat Modeling, Compliance (ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, CERT-IN), Vendor Risk, Cloud & Infrastructure Security, and SOC operations. Amol defined 36-month roadmaps, OKRs, and implemented a centralized vulnerability management framework across diverse tech stacks.
At BlockFi, he led application and infrastructure security for fintech products, including the credit card platform. He implemented SAST, DAST, encryption protocols, threat modeling, and vulnerability management. His leadership ensured end-to-end risk mitigation, including compliance and customer-facing security strategy.
Earlier, Amol founded The Secure Lab, where he personally delivered web application pentesting and consulting to 10+ international clients from Europe to Asia, gaining hands-on experience with client engagement, assessments, and reporting. This entrepreneurial journey shaped his customer-first mindset and broadened his global exposure.
Technically, Amol has integrated DevSecOps capabilities into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and CircleCI. He’s proficient in tools such as SonarQube, Semgrep, Trivy, OWASP Dependency-Check, Gitleaks, and defectdojo. He’s implemented IaC and container security, code-level policies using OPA/Kyverno, and built automated dashboards for actionable risk tracking.
Amol has also led company-wide awareness programs, training 15,000+ employees on secure development, phishing defense, and compliance. He built internal training dashboards tailored to engineering teams and established policies that passed third-party audits with ease.
