Amber Siddiqui

I've supported pharmacy services at SIUT Hospital since 2013, progressing from Trainee Pharmacist and Pharmacist-I to Clinical Pharmacist and Team Lead Pharmacist for OPD services.

In my current role, I provide pharmaceutical care, medication counseling, therapy management, and guidance for tuberculosis, transplant, paediatric nephrology, and urology patients. I work with physicians, healthcare professionals, and patients to resolve therapeutic issues and support rational use of high-alert drugs.

As a Clinical Pharmacist at SIUT Hospital, I reviewed prescriptions, managed drug interactions and adverse drug reaction reporting, supported the Antibiotic Stewardship Program, and supervised the Pharmacy Training Program. I've also used research design, data collection, statistical analysis, surveillance systems, and data visualization tools to inform improvements.

At The Indus Hospital's TB Department, I counseled TB and DR-TB patients, monitored treatment effectiveness, maintained inventory through FEFO, and reported pharmacovigilance data to Pakistan's National TB Program. My Pharm-D and MSPH, alongside training in Healthcare and Lean Hospital Management, support my focus on patient care and effective hospital operations.
