Salman Shaikh

I am a Pharm-D clinical pharmacist registered with the Pakistan Pharmacy Council (No. 17926), educated at Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Medical University, Larkana (2018–2024). I combine clinical knowledge with hands-on hospital experience to deliver safe medication therapy.

I have worked as a Hospital Pharmacist at United Medical Center, Larkana (Apr 2024–Apr 2025) and am currently a Trainee Pharmacist at Sindh Institute of Child Health & Neonatology (June 2025–Present); I also completed a hospital pharmacy internship at Chandka Medical College Hospital (July–Aug 2022). These roles trained me in accurate dispensing, medication reconciliation and collaborative care.

I have improved patient outcomes by educating type 2 diabetes patients on medication therapy, nutrition and adherence, counseling on side effects and proper administration, and performing blood pressure measurement. My core strengths include workflow optimization, interprofessional collaboration, drug storage management, quality control and pharmaceutical care planning.

I have completed a research project on assessment of asthma first aid and management knowledge among medical professionals and participated in a research poster competition. I hold a one-week MS-Excel workshop certificate and a GAT general score of 57 and am seeking a full-time clinical role where I can apply my counseling skills, support medication safety, and continue professional development.
