What I'm looking for

I seek a leadership role in medical coding or HIM where I can improve coding quality, mentor teams, manage performance to SLAs, and reduce denials.

I am a CPC-certified medical coding manager with progressive leadership experience building and managing large domestic and global coding teams across multiple specialties, including orthopedics, urgent care, ED, and ancillary services. I drive coding accuracy and productivity, prepare client and finance reports, audit and train staff, and work directly with clients and audit/CDI teams to meet quality and SLA expectations.

My background includes hands-on coding, encoder and EHR proficiency (Epic, 3M, TruCode and more), HCC and LCD/NCD research, and developing policies and training to reduce denials and improve performance. I have been promoted through roles from pro-fee coder to manager and have led hiring, performance management, and large-scale operational implementations.
