What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can handle high-acuity ED cases—stroke alerts, trauma care, and rapid stabilization—while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. I’d also enjoy continuing adjunct teaching when scheduling allows.

I’ve spent 5+ years in Emergency Department/ER settings, including Level 1 and Level 2 trauma centers across short-term acute care hospitals. I handle rapid assessment, trauma protocols, and time-sensitive stroke workflows using NIHSS and supportive nursing care.

At Northwell (Flex Staff), I’ve managed stroke alerts and code situations, collaborated with multidisciplinary teams, and supported thrombolytic therapy within protocol timelines. I also administer emergency therapies and medications per physician orders, while using Veradigm and other charting systems (including Epic).

Alongside ED work at Brooklyn Hospital (PRN) and prior ER roles, I also teach—working as an Adjunct Nursing Instructor at Long Island University and Saint Francis College. I deliver pharmacology and health assessment instruction, and supervise clinical learning to reinforce safety, assessment, and evidence-based practice.
