I’m looking for a role in the Raleigh, North Carolina area where I can manage Linux/UNIX infrastructure, automate administration with Ansible and Shell Scripting, and support always-on availability through monitoring and incident resolution.

I’m a result-driven Unix/Linux System Administrator with nearly 9 years of experience, specializing in Linux (Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5–9) and UNIX (AIX 5–7) environments. I manage critical production, pre-production, and development infrastructure and resolve complex tier 1–3 incidents.

I administer enterprise Linux platforms (RHEL, Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS) and IBM AIX systems, including IBM Power Systems virtualization with HMC and VIOS Server and GPFS clusters on AIX. I execute platform-wide patching and upgrades for security and compliance, and I configure storage architecture using LVM, NFS, and SAN disks.

I automate repetitive administration and deployment workflows with Ansible and Shell Scripting, and I deploy and maintain IBM WebSphere and IBM Liberty application servers. I monitor health with Centreon, manage workflows via ServiceNow and Remedy, and participate in weekly on-call guard rotations to support 24/7 availability while continuing to prepare for advanced Red Hat certifications.
