What I'm looking for

I seek a role that values collaboration and innovation in early childhood education.

I am an experienced Kindergarten Teacher and Lead Pre-K Educator with a passion for fostering a nurturing and developmentally appropriate learning environment. Currently, I work at Nye County School District, where I implement engaging practices that promote foundational mathematical and language arts skills while prioritizing play and student choice. My commitment to creating a kind classroom culture is evident through my emphasis on relationships, respect, and teaching executive functioning skills to young learners.

Throughout my career, I have taken on various leadership roles, including presenting at the Las Vegas 2024 RPDP Pre-K and Kindergarten conference. My educational background includes a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from New Mexico State University, where I developed assessments and taught parent education classes to enhance family engagement. I have also served as the Interim Summer Program Director, overseeing a large budget and a team of staff, which honed my collaborative leadership skills.

My dedication to educational research and continuous learning drives my professional ethos. I have been recognized for my contributions to the field, including being invited as a panelist by the Nevada Department of Education to discuss developmentally appropriate practices. I am committed to creating enriching educational experiences that support the growth and development of every child.
