Alisa Derweesh
@alisaderweesh
Electrical engineering student focused on energy systems, circuit design, and simulation-driven solutions.
What I'm looking for
I am an Electrical Engineering student at LUT University specializing in energy systems, circuit design, and simulation tools. I combine technical modeling, data analysis and hands-on prototyping to deliver optimized engineering solutions, demonstrated through microgrid and RLC circuit projects.
My project experience includes designing a grid-connected microgrid with a 96.5% renewable fraction using HOMER Pro, simulating transient circuit behavior with MATLAB/Simulink, and building data-driven applications in Python. I have also designed mechanical components in SolidWorks and performed large-scale municipal data analysis using advanced Excel functions.
I contribute effectively in team environments and through internships, notably supporting robotic component design and AI-assisted testing at Flomad Labs. I am eager to apply my cross-disciplinary skills in energy-focused engineering roles that value innovation, practical prototyping, and data-informed decision making.
