For my MSc dissertation at University of Essex, I developed a decision-support system that turns machine-learning fraud-risk scores into prioritised investigation decisions. In a 10,000-transaction PaySim evaluation, it improved fraud recall from 39.7% to 44.1% while reducing estimated operational cost from €1.75M to €1.73M.
I built an end-to-end fraud-detection pipeline using Python and Scikit-learn, including feature engineering, probability calibration, and model evaluation. I also developed a FastAPI backend and interactive Streamlit dashboard with investigation queues and transaction-level explanations.
I'm currently a Technical Support Agent on the Actionline – NBG Project, helping National Bank of Greece customers with digital banking access and service issues. I'm completing an MSc in Artificial Intelligence (Machine Learning) and seeking an entry-level AI, data, or technology role.
