Senior SDET and QA automation engineer building scalable UI/API testing frameworks that improve CI/CD release reliability.
What I'm looking for
I’m a Senior Software Developer in Test (SDET) / Senior QA Automation Engineer who specializes in scalable automation frameworks, API validation, and CI/CD-integrated testing for revenue-critical systems. At Candid, I own quality strategy across authentication, subscriptions, and data products, maintaining and expanding 500+ automated tests across 4 environments to support daily regression and deployment-blocking smoke tests. I also integrate automated tests into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines to enable deployment gating and faster release confidence.
I lead automation modernization end-to-end, including a Selenium to Playwright migration that improved execution speed by ~70%, reduced flakiness, and strengthened regression reliability across CI/CD pipelines. I build maintainable shared UI/API automation frameworks, leverage AI-assisted workflows (test creation, exploratory test generation, and AI-assisted debugging) to improve edge-case detection and reduce triage time, and have prevented production login disruptions tied to OneLogin integration failures. I’ve also designed an API & UI validation platform that validates 3.5M+ records monthly via external API response checks against internal SQL sources, improving validation speed by ~15x through parallel execution—and I mentor 6+ interns to grow strong automation engineers.
