At Banamex, I built the Cards business third-party risk management and outsourcing governance function from scratch, defining its operating model and processes. I also developed a team and partnered with business units to manage vendor relationships while enabling strategic projects.
As Assistant Vice President, I remediated more than 200 intra-group service agreements and established ongoing controls for vendor inventories. I also rebuilt Consumer Products Records Management and implemented an Alternative Control Framework for co-branded cards that was adopted by the global ICRM team as a best-practice reference.
In Consumer Products, I coordinated CONDUSEF initiatives that helped Credit Cards achieve its highest Bureau of Financial Entities rating since 2013, including a 10.0/10 in regulatory supervision. Most recently, I oversaw Consumer Lending financial crime programs and coordinated an internal-controls AI adoption initiative, presenting 25 proposals to Senior Management.
