Alexander Sulyok

I co-founded Whalefall Games, a video game studio. This role involved experiencing the challenges of setting up a company combined with the responsibilities of a Company Director.

I work under an experimental division within Network-N that works on gaming-related sites that are both editorial and data-driven. My main role currently is working on the website Deadlockrank.com, using my experience in writing, data analysis, and MOBAs such as League of Legends to help produce, refine, and release content for the website.

My first book “The Outlander” (started in lockdown), was completed in 2023 and is in the process of being published. I am currently working on the second book of six, in the series “To the Outlands.

Being Treasurer of the Society gave me an understanding of the importance of budgeting and cost control in an organisation. This role involved managing the society's finances and ensuring responsible spending.

I worked as a kitchen porter in a village pub. This role involved assisting with kitchen duties and maintaining cleanliness.

During the internship I was introduced to key elements of property development including construction, operational support and commercial execution. I gained insight into the various stages of property projects.

My role in Mountain Mania gave me front line sales and customer service experience. I assisted customers with their purchases and provided information about products.

Coaching martial arts has shown me the importance and joy of sharing experience and knowledge in a well rounded way whilst setting a good example for all. I was responsible for teaching and guiding students.

This experience allowed me to gain an office based understanding of the role of a trade body. I observed and participated in daily office activities.
