At Batch, I work across a React Native (Expo) app, a Next.js marketplace, and a React partner portal in one Turborepo monorepo. I lead the mobile side of a two-sided marketplace serving 3M+ users across 50+ cities.
I built social-planning features including a party hub, event calendar with RSVPs, guest management, polls, shared expenses, and in-app chat. I also implemented discovery and booking, from map-based search and real-time availability through Stripe checkout.
When profiling showed costly work in long lists, I removed NativeWind interop wrappers and lucide SVG icons from hot rows. Party hub load time dropped from 3.6 seconds to 0.15 seconds, and the changes ended long freezes and sped up cold starts.
I own mobile platform work including Expo and React Native upgrades, OTA updates, and store-release pipelines. I’ve also worked on the Next.js marketplace and partner portal, and am writing a native Expo module in Swift and Kotlin around the HubSpot Mobile Chat SDK.
