Alan Pesina

I’m a Mechanical Engineer with hands-on experience in procurement, supply chain operations, and technical support for industrial equipment, including emergency power systems. I’m known for bridging technical and commercial teams to optimize processes and protect operational continuity.

In my current role as a Procurement Analyst at MEREX Diesel Power Parts International, I manage procurement of critical materials and services, negotiate with national and international suppliers, and monitor purchase orders to ensure on-time availability. I coordinate with technical and operations teams to prevent supply disruptions, perform cost analysis and budget control support, and provide technical support related to emergency power systems, including assisting in validation and selection of mechanical components and spare parts.

Before that, as a Procurement Intern, I supported purchasing processes, contributed to inventory control, and helped validate technical requirements while developing procurement and supply chain analysis reports. Alongside my B.S. at Tecnológico de Monterrey, I built practical engineering work through a capstone maintenance program, an Industry 4.0 industrial monitoring system recognized with the KIA Young Innovator Award, and IoT/Big Data solutions to improve operational efficiency.
