I’m a Corrosion Coating Application Engineer with 2 years of total work experience, including 1 year at ITC PSPD Limited in the Environment Department (PCB). I bring extensive on-site experience across protective coating activities for steel structure, pipeline, tank lining works, vessels, heat exchangers, chimneys, and concrete & civil coatings.

I’ve led coating maintenance projects for pipe rack structures and pipelines, as well as pipe structures and storage tanks across ITC PSPD Unit-Bhadrachalam, AGI Greenpac & Glasppac (Hyderabad), and Sri Kalahasthi Pipes (Srikalahasthi). I’m also responsible for billing preparation and updating TGPCB & CPCB servers and data entry for ITC PSPD Limited.

In my QA/QC role, I prepare quality assurance plans and ensure coating activities follow project specifications and approved QAP. I coordinate with production engineers, clients, and subcontractors on technical issues, and I manage surface preparation and coating quality end-to-end—covering weather monitoring, wet film thickness checks, overcoating intervals, and both pre- and post-blasting inspection.

My inspection work includes abrasive cleanliness evaluation, compressed air cleanliness and chloride tests, dry film thickness verification by magnetic gauges (SSPC PA-2), high voltage holiday testing in line with NACE RP 188/ASTM G62, and adhesion testing using Tape Test and Pulp-off methods (ASTM D3359 & 4541). I’m also well-versed in international coating standards like SSPC, NACE, ASTM, BGAS, and ISO, and I’ve been recognized with the “Best Site Engineer Award” (February 2022–2023).
