Akash Chowdhury

I’m a Full-Stack Developer with a strong foundation in frontend engineering and hands-on experience building production applications using React, Node.js, Express, FastAPI, Next.js, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and AWS.

I started my career in frontend development and progressed from an internship to Frontend Engineer within 8 months, where I led frontend development for a production SaaS platform. I built responsive interfaces, reusable React components, role-based dashboards, and complete application flows used across different business functions. I have also delivered multiple e-commerce and subscription-based platforms end-to-end, integrating APIs, payment gateways, calendar booking, and third-party services.

Alongside frontend development, I have worked on backend systems using Node.js, Express, and FastAPI, designing and integrating REST APIs and connecting applications with databases and cloud services. In my current role, I work with AWS infrastructure including EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM, and deployment automation, while also contributing to full-stack feature development.

I enjoy solving engineering problems that improve performance, scalability, developer experience, and user experience. One of my recent projects, DeployHub, is a zero-configuration deployment CLI that automates application builds and cloud deployments across multiple frameworks and deployment targets.

I’m currently looking for opportunities as a Frontend, Backend, or Full-Stack Developer where I can contribute to real-world products, take ownership of features, and continue growing as a well-rounded software engineer.

I’m particularly interested in product-focused teams where engineering quality, problem-solving, and measurable impact are valued.
