What I'm looking for

I’m looking to own SAN/NAS operations, backup and DR for high-SLA environments, and collaborate with OEM teams to resolve P1/P2 incidents. I want continuous improvement through monitoring, reporting, and automation.

I’m a Storage & Backup Engineer (L2/L3) with 6+ years of experience administering enterprise SAN, NAS, and backup infrastructures across NetApp ONTAP (7-Mode & C-Mode), Hitachi VSP, HPE 3PAR, HPE XP8, and Dell EMC PowerMax platforms. I’ve managed and supported approximately 70+ NetApp ONTAP clusters and monitored over 18,657 TB (18.6 PB) of mission-critical storage, while maintaining strong SLA compliance in 24×7 production support.

I lead storage provisioning and capacity planning, perform ONTAP upgrades, and execute storage migrations and hardware refreshes with zero unplanned production downtime. I configure and validate disaster recovery replication using SnapMirror and HUR, and I administer backup operations with Cohesity and Commvault—consistently maintaining 99%+ backup success rates. I also monitor storage health and performance using tools like Data Infrastructure Insights (DII) and BlueXP, handle P1/P2 incidents through incident and problem management practices, and collaborate with NetApp/Hitachi/OEM teams to resolve critical infrastructure issues.
