What I'm looking for

I seek a collaborative environment that values innovative teaching and research opportunities.

I am an experienced educator with a strong background in English literature, holding an M.Phil. from the University of Delhi. My dissertation focused on Mumia Abu Jamal and the concept of rooted cosmopolitanism, reflecting my commitment to exploring complex narratives in literature. I have taught various undergraduate courses at North East Christian University, where I designed and delivered classes on Literary Theory, Indian Writing in English, and Postcolonial Literature, among others.

Throughout my teaching career, I have embraced innovative methods, including online instruction during the COVID-19 pandemic, which enhanced my proficiency in virtual teaching tools. My presentations at national and international conferences demonstrate my engagement with contemporary literary discourse. I have also been actively involved in professional development, participating in workshops that enrich my teaching practices and contribute to my growth as an educator.
