Zakir Hussain

I’m a dedicated, dynamic English educator with 30+ years of teaching experience (1994–Present), including confirmed government service. I hold an M.A. in English Literature (Distinction) and a B.Ed. in English Teaching Methodology, and I consistently deliver strong academic outcomes—achieving 100% Board pass rates with high distinctions in Classes XI–XII.

At Mahatma Gandhi Govt. Higher Secondary School, I teach advanced grammar, prose, poetry, letter writing, and essay composition aligned with RBSE/NCERT, and I design blended learning using audio-visual tools, role-play simulations, and collaborative activities. I’m also known for student development beyond exams: I run a Spoken English & Personality Development Boot Camp for 30+ learners, founded the “Read to Lead” classroom library initiative, and mentor students for debates, creative writing contests, and literary events while maintaining detailed lesson plans, assessments, and progress trackers aligned to the academic calendar.
