What I'm looking for

I'm seeking a collaborative, agile team role focused on back-end engineering, integrations and APIs, with mentorship, cloud/DevOps exposure, and hands-on work to advance my backend skills.

I am a versatile, detail-oriented software developer with 4+ years of hands-on experience delivering back-end services, system integrations, and AI-powered tools in a product environment.

I designed and implemented custom webhooks and secure integrations with Azure Active Directory using C#, WCF, SQL stored procedures and JWTs, and delivered an internal AI chatbot using C# and AWS Bedrock. I have practical experience in unit testing and API architecture.

I work well in agile, Kanban-driven teams, collaborating closely across technical and non-technical stakeholders, participating in joint scrums and presenting features company-wide. I also supported a PostgreSQL migration, demonstrating adaptability and strong database understanding.

I hold an MSci in Physics where I applied machine learning to image enhancement in Python, and since leaving my last role I have been independently learning Java and DevOps tools to progress into a more advanced back-end engineering role.
