Ahmed Sherif

I am a software engineer passionate about cloud technologies, problem solving, and building resilient distributed systems. I have designed and developed backend systems handling secure, efficient transactions and contributed to refactoring efforts that reduced vendor lock-in and improved portability.

My work spans microservices, event-driven architectures, and data pipelines—implementing monitoring, alerting, and performance tracking using technologies such as Golang, Scala, Python, Kafka, Kubernetes, Redis, and PostgreSQL. I collaborate across teams to test, deploy, and centralize services like authentication to boost security and reliability.

I also bring startup and entrepreneurial experience—co-founding a venture and participating in accelerators and hackathons—paired with strengths in root cause analysis, regulatory compliance, and value creation to deliver production-grade systems.
