Ahmed Al-Aqel

At Ubakel, I work with business owners to map operations, identify where manual work slows growth, and redesign processes before automating them. I deliver solutions that fit clients’ existing tools, with testing, handover documentation, and post-launch support.

For a client’s Notion finance system, I automated bank and credit card statement processing. An AI model reads statements in different formats and creates categorized transactions, while duplicate-file checks, retries, and clear status messages help prevent double-counting and silent failures.

I also built an AI assistant that lets clinic patients book and manage appointments through WhatsApp. It handles family patient profiles and handoffs to a human, and uses RAG to answer questions from the clinic’s own information.

For other client workflows, I automated solar bill reviews into a savings model and reports, and created draft Xero bills from invoice files, including handwritten fields. These solutions include safeguards such as duplicate detection and routing unreadable files for review.
