What I'm looking for

I want to grow as a general surgeon and researcher in a productive, supportive team—building my vascular surgery expertise and academic output through innovative studies, teaching, and continuous surgical training.

I am a young and dynamic General Surgeon with a focus on results and productivity. I bring strong research and analytical skills, and I’m a fast learner and open-minded team player.

I’m driven by a passion for pursuing a career in research and academia, with a strong interest in Vascular Surgery. I hold the Fellow of the College of Surgeons of South Africa and completed my Master of Surgery at the University of Cape Town.

Professionally, I have built broad clinical experience through roles including Specialist Registrar in General Surgery at Groote Schuur Hospital and General Surgery at St Martin De Porres Catholic Hospital. I have also served as Clinical Coordinator and Senior Medical Officer, and I supported medical training as a Part-Time Teaching Assistant.

I aim to make significant contributions through innovative research. My learning and expertise are reinforced by vascular-focused training (including Vascular Ultrasound and EVAR/TEVAR planning) and ongoing surgical courses, along with publications and repeated recognition through Surgery International Registrar Award (UCT).
