What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can blend clinical practice with data science and health informatics—building evidence-based, scalable solutions in resource-limited settings, partnering with multidisciplinary teams, and growing through graduate-level research.

I’m a clinically experienced Medical Officer with 3+ years of post-residency practice across surgery, obstetrics, paediatrics, and internal medicine. I bring hands-on procedural medicine, strong clinical judgment, and care-planning discipline to busy care settings.

In my current role, I provide diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care across multiple specialties, design and implement evidence-based care plans, and coordinate specialist referrals. I also supervise ancillary healthcare staff and support minimally invasive procedures—always with timely escalation and quality documentation in mind.

I’m also a certified Data Scientist with additional training in web development and health leadership. My focus is on advancing health technology and data-driven care delivery in resource-limited settings, with research interests in health informatics, digital health, and maternal & child health.

Professionally, I’m driven by the idea that better data should lead to better outcomes. I’m seeking graduate study at the intersection of healthcare and data science to develop scalable, evidence-based solutions for African health systems.
