I'm a product designer who never quite picked a lane between systems thinking and craft, so I stopped trying to. My background actually starts in Applied Art and branding, ran through motion design, and I was already working as a product designer before I went back and did my MS in HCI to sharpen that thinking further. That mix is probably why I care as much about a design system holding together as I do about how a transition feels.
I've worked on both ends of the spectrum. At ZEE5 in Mumbai, I took ZEE5 Music from zero to one and then built out a token-based design system that had to hold up across mobile, web, and CTV, which meant thinking about scale and consistency from day one, not bolting it on later. At Salesforce, I moved into more technical territory, designing an AI-powered search and Q&A experience that shipped to millions of users.
Outside of the immediate deliverables, I'm the kind of designer who gets into the weeds: typography, motion, the small craft decisions most people skip past. I'm looking for a team that wants both, someone who can zoom out and build the system, but also zoom in and sweat the details.
