I'm a Software Developer at Oracle Financial Services, where I work on backend systems for banking clients — things like service orchestration, identity and access management, and REST API development using Java and Spring Boot. A lot of my day-to-day involves making sure services talk to each other reliably, which means building in retry logic, rollback mechanisms, and handling failures gracefully rather than letting them cascade. I also get to work across the stack, from OJET/Knockout.js frontend components to database scripts, and I enjoy owning features end-to-end — from writing the code to actually demoing it to stakeholders.

Outside of client work, I care a lot about system design done right. I built a Kafka-based event publishing service using the transactional outbox pattern to solve the dual-write problem between databases and message brokers — it's the kind of engineering problem I find genuinely satisfying to dig into. I've also worked on a computer vision project combining facial landmark detection with SVM and CNN models for real-time speech recognition, which pulled me into the ML side of things.

Going forward, I'm interested in roles that let me go deeper into backend systems, distributed architecture, and microservices — especially where reliability and scale are core to the problem.
