Adam Lawrenson

I lead Performance Medicine for Cirque du Soleil's resident aquatic production, LUDÕ, in Mexico, guiding artist health, emergency preparedness and return-to-performance decisions across live performance.

I've delivered autonomous clinical leadership for Hamilton's UK & Ireland tour and internationally recognised theatre, film and live events, managing acute injuries, rehabilitation, load management and performance readiness around demanding rehearsal, touring and production schedules. I work closely with Artistic Directors, coaches, Company Management, Stage Management and technical teams to balance artist welfare with production continuity.

My NHS background spans major trauma, acute medicine, urgent community response, respiratory medicine, spinal rehabilitation and musculoskeletal services. I build trusted multidisciplinary relationships, strengthen clinical governance and emergency systems, and help artists perform safely, consistently and at their highest level.
