At DENTAL-WINGS GMBH / STRAUMANN GMBH, I architected and implemented high-performance 3D rendering modules for dental planning software, processing complex geometry in real time across Windows and Linux.
I rewrote a legacy rendering module with improved architecture, reducing draw calls and improving frame stability. I also developed shader effects for anatomical visualization and added rendering functionality for multi-view workflows and stereo visualization.
At TRANSITION TECHNOLOGIES, I led implementation of an AR renderer library from specification through production deployment, combining a real-time camera feed with 3D virtual overlays. I also built a SLAM subsystem for 6DOF pose estimation and environmental reconstruction.
My graphics work spans medical visualization, augmented reality, and gaming. I researched strand-based hair rendering and developed a GPU-accelerated hair geometry processing pipeline for my Master’s thesis.
