At SCG GROWTH PARTNERS, I lead product and technical work on ApplyOn, a SaaS insurance platform used by 11 regulated insurers and credit unions. I lead a team of five engineers while staying hands-on in production code.
I introduced configurable JSON Schema data modelling for client implementations, eliminating custom code for data capture and cutting implementation time from four months to two. I also built an AI-enabled KYC pipeline with AWS Textract and Claude that cut manual document review by approximately 65%.
As a Senior Software Engineer at SCG GROWTH PARTNERS, I architected a real-time rating engine for insurance underwriting and quoting that generated more than $50M in quoted premium. I also designed an omnichannel workflow platform adopted by more than 200 sales and service staff.
Earlier, I extended a consumer finance and insurance marketplace that drove $107M in mortgage and loan originations and $10M+ in gross written premium. As Technical Co-Founder of Touchpoint, I designed and built an out-of-home advertising marketplace, then made the decision to wind it down when product-market fit didn't materialise.
