What I'm looking for

I seek a senior applications or product/process engineering role where I can lead extrusion/thermoforming scale-up, solve customer production challenges, and collaborate cross-functionally to commercialize robust polymer products.

I am an applications-focused polymer engineer with 15+ years of experience spanning R&D, extrusion processing, quality systems, and customer technical service. I translate end-use requirements into resin selection, additive packages, and robust process windows for thin- and thick-gauge sheet and roll-stock.

At INEOS Styrolution I led ASA and ABS quality and process solutions from commissioning through production, optimized formulations and extrusion parameters, and delivered customer technical service to reduce startup scrap and improve first-pass stability. I have developed rapid compositional and QC methods and used DOE to resolve borderline mechanical property issues.

Previously I provided extrusion solutions for medical device and wire & cable customers, implemented contamination controls and CAPA templates, and executed pilot trials and scale-up/validation activities. I founded a startup to commercialize an innovative erasable T-shirt product and established a polymer/soft-matter lab as a postdoctoral fellow, managing instrumentation, validation, and student training.

My technical toolkit includes extensive analytical methods (SAXS/WAXS, DSC, TGA, AFM, SEM, Raman, GC, etc.), rheology, and software such as Minitab, Design-Expert, and LabVIEW. I am collaborative, results-driven, and comfortable leading on-site trials and troubleshooting under production conditions.
