Abhinav Singh

I'm a dedicated student at the University of Virginia, pursuing a major in Applied Statistics with a concentration in Data Science. My academic journey has equipped me with a solid foundation in statistical analysis, programming, and data science methodologies, achieving a GPA of 3.7. I actively participate in extracurricular activities, including Phi Chi Theta and the Sales & Trading Group, which have honed my leadership and teamwork skills.

In my internships, I have gained practical experience in accounting and data analysis. At KNZ Solutions, I reconciled financial data and ensured compliance with U.S. GAAP, while at Vikas Garg CPA Firm, I improved reporting accuracy through data organization. My passion for teaching was evident as a Lead Instructor at Fairfax Collegiate, where I helped students excel in various subjects, including math and public speaking.

My projects reflect my technical expertise, such as developing a K-Nearest Neighbors classifier for movie genre prediction and building a multivariate regression model to analyze disability rates across U.S. states. I am proficient in Python, R, SQL, and various data visualization tools, and I am eager to leverage my skills in a data analyst role.
