I’m a Backend and Platform Engineer focused on building scalable microservices, distributed systems, and API platforms that are reliable in production. I work at the intersection of API onboarding/gov, consumption pipelines, and observability—so teams can move fast without losing operational clarity.

At Cisco, I integrated the Mashery API Gateway into the API Portal using Java and Spring Boot to create a centralized platform for API onboarding, versioning, access control, governance, and secure API management. I also built MESB platform components in Python, including a modular MongoDB CRUD service inside a 10-step processing pipeline and a consumption tracking job (HLD to LLD) to capture API usage metrics for billing, analytics, monitoring, and observability.

I strengthen operational efficiency through automation and measurement. I automated infrastructure workflows with a Python SFTP upgrade automation tool for ProFTPD version management and a comprehensive SFTP test suite for post-change health checks—reducing manual validation effort by 95% and improving monitoring and reliability.

Beyond my day job, I build practical systems and agentic experiences: SnapDB, a CLI backup/restore utility across PostgreSQL/MySQL/MongoDB/Redis with compression and integrity checks; and Atlas, an AI travel planning assistant using LangGraph/LangChain and OpenAI with modular agent-driven workflows. I also received a Special Mention at the Cisco Hackathon (2025) for an AI-powered ESP case enrichment solution processing 1000+ historical cases.
