I’m a seasoned backend engineer with 9+ years of experience delivering scalable, production-ready backend platforms. My focus is on microservices, event-driven architectures, real-time streaming, and practical observability that helps teams detect issues early and respond confidently.

At Nasdaq, I’ve built production-grade systems end to end—development through testing, containerization, orchestration, CI/CD, and incident management. I created a Java benchmarking framework that drives high-throughput load against APIs, captures latency/throughput telemetry, and feeds results into automated analysis dashboards.

I also implemented a real-time metrics pipeline using Apache Kafka for high-throughput ingestion and Redis for in-memory caching, powering KPI dashboards with significantly lower query latency. To support reliability at scale, I designed and deployed resilient microservices on Docker, Kubernetes, and Rancher with auto-scaling, rolling upgrades, graceful shutdown, and retry/backpressure patterns.

My engineering ethos is measurable quality and maintainable operations. I instrument services with OpenTelemetry and centralize logs/metrics/traces in Loki/Prometheus/Tempo with SLO monitoring and alerting, while raising test standards using JUnit5, Mockito, TestContainers, and JaCoCo to improve coverage and reduce defect leakage.
