What I'm looking for
I am an Urdu-native translator and communicator with practical experience supporting patients and families in medical settings. I have completed ESOL qualifications and multiple health-related online courses, and I provided sustained translation and advocacy during a five-year period of end-stage illness for a family member.
I have worked in team settings as a lunchtime supervisor and regularly practise typing and English skills to strengthen my written and verbal communication. I am seeking part-time roles where I can serve people, ideally as a medical translator, bringing empathy, cultural-linguistic fluency and hands-on experience in health appointments and emergency calls.
