Aaron Chan

I’m a Backend Software Engineer who builds and improves systems that support high-volume booking experiences across Southeast Asia. I’ve engineered backend features for transportation, food, mart, and express delivery, with an emphasis on service quality and dependable operations.

I spearheaded new features and revamped existing ones to improve service quality, while maintaining strong ownership over production readiness. I’m comfortable operating on AWS, working with Kafka streams, and routinely investigating logs in OpenSearch/Kibana to keep systems healthy.

I also bring application integration experience from working as an Application Developer, integrating B2B systems and services with client platforms for seamless data exchange. I delivered network equipment-related projects and developed solutions using Python, Java, JavaScript, Spring, Maven, MySQL, and APIs.

Earlier, I completed a Program Analyst (Internship) focused on building proof-of-concept connectivity and safety features using Raspberry Pi, Node.js/JavaScript, Arduino, and Docker. I bring an eager-to-learn, growth-oriented mindset, strong problem solving, and analytical thinking to every new environment.
