Νικόλας Ξυδερός
@000872
MSc student specializing in Systems Biology and Molecular Biology.
What I'm looking for
I am currently pursuing my MSc in Systems Biology at the Agricultural University of Athens, with an expected graduation in January 2026. My academic journey has been marked by a strong foundation in Applied Biology and Biotechnology, where I graduated Summa Cum Laude. My passion for molecular biology and plant biotechnology drives my research interests, particularly in pest control and genetic engineering.
Throughout my academic career, I have engaged in significant research experiences, including my Bachelor’s thesis on protein expression systems in Olea europaea. I also completed an Erasmus+ internship at the John Innes Center in the UK, where I worked on packaging bioactive RNA into virus-like particles for innovative pesticide development. Currently, I am involved in my Master’s thesis at the National Centre For Scientific Research & FORTH, focusing on insect resistance mechanisms.
