I work on a live US real-estate marketplace, building a Fastify and TypeScript API over PostgreSQL. I developed MLS data sync for about 77,000 listings under strict provider limits, with persistent limiter state and idempotent imports.
When bot traffic slowed the catalogue to 8–15 seconds, I traced the issue to queued PostgreSQL lock-manager reads; a per-role statement timeout and read concurrency cap brought it to 0.05 seconds. I also work on Stripe billing, platform deploys with rollback, and a CPU-only chat assistant whose prices and facts come from API tools.
