Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Youth Services Manager to lead our initiatives aimed at empowering and supporting young people within our community. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing programs and services that address the diverse needs of youth, ensuring they have access to resources that foster their personal and professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement youth programs that promote engagement, education, and life skills development
- Lead a team of youth service coordinators and volunteers, providing mentorship and professional development opportunities
- Build and maintain partnerships with local schools, community organizations, and stakeholders to enhance program offerings
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, utilizing data to inform decision-making and continuous improvement
- Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and events that empower youth to develop leadership skills and resilience
- Advocate for youth needs within the organization and in the community, ensuring their voices are represented
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in social work, education, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in youth services, community outreach, or program management
- Demonstrated ability to develop and lead programs tailored to youth needs
- Strong understanding of youth development principles and best practices
Preferred:
- Master's degree in a relevant field
- Experience with grant writing and fundraising efforts
- Knowledge of local resources and services available to youth
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in data management systems for program tracking and reporting
- Familiarity with social media platforms for outreach and engagement
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools
